2020 Rochester Shooting Victim Dies of Injuries

Rochester police confirm a woman shot back in August 2020 died of her injuries less than two weeks ago.

Tamika Vailes was shot on Potomac Street on the city's west side.

Police say she died September 27th, and have ruled her death a murder.

58-year-old Isaac Wynn was convicted of attempted murder, assault, and gun crimes in her shooting.

He was sentenced ot 20 years in prison last year.

Police will confer with the District Attorney's Office to determine if Wynn will face a murder charge.
