People in the Corn Hill neighborhood want assurances that an apartment building for homeless people will house families not addicts.
The residents spoke at a hearing last night.
The Rochester City Planning Commission is considering a request from Monroe County to put homeless people in a former hotel at 204 South Plymouth Avenue.
The building has 58 rooms.
