Rochester police have a 26-year-old man in custody on gun charges after a pursuit in the Edgerton neighborhood.
It started before 10 last night after officers got a report of gunfire on Cameron Street.
Shots were fired at an unoccupied home.
Police arrived in time to see Shakier Hartzog leaving in an SUV at a high speed.
They chased him to Silver Street, where they took him into custody and found two rifles in the SUV.
One had a defaced serial number.
An officer had to be treated for an injury suffered during the arrest.
