Gates police have arrested a Rochester woman on charges she stole a car with a two-month old baby inside.
It happened around 7:30 Wednesday night outside the Modern Nails shop on Howard Road.
The baby's mom had stepped out of the car to signal a friend she was there to give her a ride.
That's when police say 35-year-old Meghan Daniels got behind the wheel and drove away.
When officers spotted the car, police say Daniels didn't stop right away and led police through several neighborhoods.
The charges include reckless endangerment, unlawful imprisonment, grand larceny and felony DWI.
