Rochester Man Gets 25 to Life in Fatal Goodman Plaza Shooting

A Rochester man was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison today for a fatal parking lot shooting.

32-year-old Joseph Serrano was found guilty in May of second-degree murder and 2 counts of weapons possession.

Prosecutors say he shot 23-year-old Dallas Cooper Junior to death in the Goodman Plaza lot, near Family Dollar, in April of last year.

Serrano was also wounded, but was later released from the hospital.
