Greece Man Convicted in Downtown Rochester Double Homicide

A Greece man accused of killing two men in downtown Rochester -- has been found guilty.

30-year-old Timothy Brown was convicted of 2 counts each of 1st- and 2nd-degree murder, along with weapons possession.

Prosecutors say Brown shot 22-year-old Tywan Harper and 19-year-old Malakai Smith to death at a Chestnut Street apartment building in November 2021.

Brown was arrested the next month with a loaded gun.

Brown will be sentenced in July.
