Rochester police say a standoff with an armed man on the west side ended with his arrest.
The man was firing a gun in the street last night on Electric Avenue, near Dewey, then ran inside his house before police arrived.
The street had to be closed while police tried to contact him.
He was eventually taken into custody.
No one was hurt.
