30-year old Shafi Mutombo has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting on the city's north side.
It happened shortly after midnight on Peckham Street, near Hudson Avenue.
Police believe there had been some sort of fight between Mutombo and someone else.
No one has been arrested.
It's the city's 9th homicide this year.
