Assembly Judiciary Committee Reviewing Allegations Report Against Cuomo

Members of the state Assembly Judiciary Committee have begun reviewing the report from investigators looking into allegations of wrongdoing in office by former Governor Cuomo.

The review is taking place in private, but Committee chair Charles Lavine says the report will be released to the public in a matter of days.

Investigators were looking into allegations of sexual misconduct by Cuomo, the possible use of state resources for the writing of his book, and Cuomo's handling of COVID patients at nursing homes.

The investigation was suspended when Cuomo resigned in August but resumed after objections from state lawmakers.
