Gov. Cuomo Signs Bill into Law Allowing Nursing Home Visitation

Governor Cuomo has signed Assemblyman Harry Bronson's bill into law that allows family members to visit their loved in long term care facilities during the pandemic.

The new law lets nursing home residents and their families designate two or more personal caregivers who will be exempt from any general prohibitions on visitation.

The caregivers must comply with required safety and screening procedures to be admitted into nursing homes and adult care facilities.
