Cuomo Administration Officials Accused of Threatening Nursing Homes

Cuomo Administration officials reportedly threatened nursing home leaders during an intense phone call about coronavirus vaccines.

The New York Post says the call featured Health Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker and special counsel Beth Garvey, who threatened to revoke licenses and enact fines.

At issue was a dedicated supply of vaccines that were supposed to be used by nursing homes, but weren't being picked up from designated drop off points.

Nursing home sources tell The Post that, in fact, they'd already gotten vaccines through other means, there were reporting issues, or allotted supplies simply weren't needed.
