Accused Rochester Proud Boy Wants Out of Jail

Dominic Pezzola

A Rochester man is fighting in court to get out of jail until his trial for his alleged participation in the Capitol riot last month.

Lawyers for Dominic Pezzola are asking he be released on an intensive supervision program, and they say he wants to negotiate a plea deal and accept responsibility.

Pezzola is being held without bail on charges that include conspiracy, assault, impeding officers, and obstruction.

Pezzola is a reputed member of the Proud Boys and is accused of using a stolen police shield to break a window at the capitol.
