Rocheseter PAB to Hold Hearing into Protest Response

Rochester's new Police Accountability Board will hold a hearing Thursday evening on the way Rochester police respond to mass gatherings and protests. It's part of the oversight investigation the board is mounting into the RPD's policies, practices and procedures.

The hearing will be held online at 6:30 Thursday evening, and streamed both on the board's Facebook page and the city's YouTube page.

PAB Chair Shani Wilson says this first hearing will look into the new policies put out by Interim Police Chief Cynthia Herriott-Sullivan and delivered to City Council last month. She says they'll be questioning the chief and her staff.
