People living at a Brockport area apartment complex say there they heard no alarms when a fire broke out before dawn.
The fire spread through the roof at the 3-story Viking Apartments around 6 a.m.
Two people were sent to the hospital, and tenants had to be sheltered on buses.
One woman had to be rescued.
There is no word on the cause of the fire.
