Greece Man Sentenced for Threatening Schumer

A Greece man is headed to prison for six months for making threatening calls to the offices of Senator Schumer and Congressman Adam Schiff.

57-year-old Salvatore Lippa was convicted of two counts of threatening a United States official.

Prosecutors say Lippa admitted he was upset about the impeachment proceedings against President Trump when he made the calls to Schiff and Schumer January 23 and February 4.

In both calls, he left a voicemail message threatening to kill the men.
