RIT Requires Flu Shots For All Who Want to be on Campus

Rochester Institute of Technology wants anyone on campus to protect themselves against the flu. RIT announced today that they will require that students, faculty, and staff who will be on campus for any reason receive a seasonal flu vaccination by the start of Spring Semester.

RIT is partnering with Wegmans for on-campus flu vaccine clinics. Students are encouraged to get the vaccine as soon as possible. RIT says if a student’s insurance is not accepted by Wegmans, they can get the vaccine at the Student Health Center for $20. Students must provide proof they got the flu shot by submitting documentation to the Wellness Portal.
