Rochester Police have made two arrests following a shooting yesterday on Birr Street.
Police say they have arrested Wayne Stewart, and charged him with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Investigators also charged Tyshawn Beacoats with criminal possession of a weapon.
Authorities executed search warrants and located a loaded gun.
The victim, a 23-year-old man, was shot in the lower body and was treated at Rochester General Hospital.
