Every household in the City of Rochester is being mailed five protective masks from the Monroe County stockpile.
Mayor Lovely Warren says the 480,000 masks are being sent to nearly 96,000 homes in the city.
Another 20,00 will be reserved for businesses, churches and others, as needed.
The mailings will start early next week.
In addition to masks, the mailing will contain information regarding community resources to help people impacted by the crisis. And it will include information encouraging residents to complete the 2020 Census.
