Legislature Will Hold Hearings To Address Economic Impact Of COVID-19

Members of the state Legislature are planning to hold hearings to discuss the impact the coronavirus has had on minority communities and small businesses.

There's no word yet on when the Legislature could return. Current legislative session is scheduled to end in June.

The state Capitol has been essentially empty since the Senate and Assembly approved the new state budget last month. Since then, several lawmakers have crafted bills to deal with the continuing fallout of the health crisis.
