NY Attorney General Says We Should Vote Absentee April 28th

New York Attorney General Letitia James says everyone elegible to vote in April's primary election should be sent an absentee ballot.

New York's Democratic presidential primary is April 28th. It's also the date for special elections including the 27th Congressional District and for village elections statewide. The AG says existing state law allows for the governor to issue an executive order allowing everyone to vote absentee and sending out the ballot forms to the voters. She says they shouldn't have to chose between their health and voting in this time of social distancing.
