Guilty Plea in Rochester Bank Robberies

A Rochester man who was already serving time for two bank robberies has pleaded guilty to two more.

Federal prosecutors say Michael Matzen was finishing his sentence for the first crimes at a re-entry center, when he took off in August and held up two banks in the city in September. At the second location, a Key Bank on University Avenue, customers tackled him and held him until police arrived.

Matzen is scheduled to be sentenced in May.
