Schumer: Gov't Needs To Close Loophole That Allows 'Ghost Guns'

Senator Schumer is calling on the federal government to close a loophole he claims is leading to more so-called "ghost guns" in New York communities.

Schumer wants the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to extend the legal definition of a firearm to include frames and receivers used to build guns at home.

The senator says the regulatory loophole allows those prohibited from owning firearms to purchase all of the parts needed to easily build a ghost gun.
