Authorities in Ontario County have released the name of the Fairport woman who was killed last week in Canandaigua.
Fifty-eight-year-old Julianne Baker was stabbed to death at a home on West Lake Road. A Rochester man, 62-year-old Dennis Gruttadaro, was wounded.
Baker was the former longtime girlfriend of suspect William Fricke, of Fairport, who is charged with second degree murder.
Fricke is being held without bail and has a court date Wednesday.
Sheriff Kevin Henderson says the stabbing was a case of domestic violence.
Calling hours for Baker are 3 until 5 p.m. at the Richard Keenan Funeral Home on Pittsford-Palmyra Road.
