Rochester Receives Pre-K Funding, Second Largest in State

Nearly 30 school districts across the state will share a total of 15 million dollars in state funding to support pre-kindergarten programs. Governor Cuomo announced the funding today that will support the expansion of pre-k to 26 high-need and underserved school districts.

The Rochester City School District is being awarded 1.3 million dollars in funding.

Rochester is getting the most amount of funding only behind New York City Public Schools.
