SUNY Offers Tuition For Students Displaced By Dorian

The State University of New York is offering in-state tuition for students from the Bahamas displaced by Hurricane Dorian.

The offer is for the current academic year.

The hurricane devastated the Bahamas on September 1st and left thousands homeless and many dead or missing.

Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul said this action helps ensure that students who have been displaced get continued support from SUNY schools and New York state.
