The Genesee County Sheriff's Office is investigating how bags filled with animal remains ended up dumped in a corn field in Byron.
Deputies were called on Friday after several garbage bags were found in the field at the corner of Merriman and Cook Roads. Investigators found remains of multiple animals inside, including pigs and two small calves.
Investigators from Genesee and Orleans County as well as Lollypop Farm are working to find out where the remains came from.
