A one-year-old child is fighting for his life this evening after nearly drowning in the family's swimming pool. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the accident on Naples Circle in Penfield. We're told that the toddler and one of his siblings wandered off while the father was making dinner and somehow got into the pool. First responders were able to get a pulse back, and the child is now being treated at the hospital.
