Commission to Hold Conference Call on Lake Ontario Flooding

A spokesman says the International Joint Commission will hold a conference call tomorrow morning (Friday) to discuss Plan 2014.

Opponents blame the new regulatory plan for the current flooding along the Lake Ontario shoreline. The commission said earlier this week that it doesn't have the power to alter or replace the plan. It said that would have to be a long-term process involving the approval of both the U.S. and Canadian federal governments.
