RPD and NYS AG's Office to hold Gun "Buy-Back" Program

The state Attorney General and the Rochester Police Department have scheduled another gun amnesty day, a week from this Saturday.

People will get gift cards when they turn in their guns at the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church on Clifford Avenue.

No questions will be asked, but the guns must be unloaded and brought in a plastic bag, a paper bag, or a box.

The reward will be $100 for assault weapons, $75 for handguns, $50 for rifles and shotguns and $25 for antiques and guns that don't work.
