The Republican who was trounced by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand in New York's Senate election last fall is looking to make another try for elected office.
Chele Farley says she will seek the Republican nomination for Congress next year in New York’s 18th Congressional District.
The district includes all of Orange and Putnam counties and portions of Dutchess County and Westchester County.
The seat is currently held by fourth-term Democrat Sean Patrick Maloney.
