Federal prosecutors say a Rochester man has pleaded guilty to child porn possession charges. Scott Wilbert will serve 15 years in prison as a result.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Melissa Marangola says the FBI caught Wilbert sending child pornography from his computer's web camera to another user of an online chat site. State Police began investigating Wilbert, who is a registered sex offender from a prior incident.
Wilbert was arrested three years ago and thousands of child porn images were recovered from his computer and storage media.
