Gates police have arrested a man they say broke into a room at the Motel 6, took pictures of the dead woman inside, took her phone and her dog and left.
Police say suspect Jose Pena never told anyone a woman was dead in the room. Maids found the body three days later. The body was found October 23. Police say the woman apparently died from a drug overdose. Pena is charge with burglary, petit larceny and tampering with evidence.
