Gov. Cuomo Signs Bill Making it Illegal to Not Pay for Haircut

Governor Cuomo has signed a bill that closes a loophole and makes it illegal for people to skip out on paying for haircuts.

Previously, it was technically legal to get a haircut but then leave without paying. If that happened, the only way a business owner was likely to get their money was by going to court.

Anyone caught breaking the new law will be charged with a misdemeanor.
