Rochester, NY -- A poll of likely voters in the 25th Congressional District shows Democratic Party candidate Joe Morelle with a big lead over Republican Jim Maxwell.
The Spectrum News/Siena College poll shows Morelle with the support of 55 percent of likely voters. Maxwell is supported by 31 percent.
The poll shows Maxwell is still largely unknown to more than two-thirds of the voters.
Maxwell trails by six points with men and 38 points with women.
