One Arrested Following Stabbing at Rochester Bus Stop

A man is in custody following a stabbing at a bus stop in Rochester around 10:30 this morning. Police say a 63-year-old man was sitting at a bus stop on East Avenue when 63-year-old Jesse Griggs approached the victim from behind and stabbed him in the upper body. 

The victim taken to the hospital with an apparent non-life threatening injury. 

Griggs was taken into custody and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
