Monroe County Grand Jury Indicts Rochester Teen in Death of Girlfriend

A Monroe County grand jury has indicted a Rochester teenager in the fatal shooting of his girlfriend. 

Seventeen-year-old Jermaine Brown was indicted of charges of second-degree manslaughter, criminal possession of a weapon, and aggravated criminal contempt.

He's accused of shooting and killing 18-year-old Ciara Grimes on May 9 at a friend's house on Delamaine Drive. 

Four days before the shooting, Grimes was granted a protective order against Brown.
