Rochester, NY- City officials called a press conference late Friday afternoon to announce an arrest following a threat made to East High School.

The Rochester Police Department says they were made aware of the threat by Rochester City School District Staff on February 15, after someone posted "I'm coming tomorrow morning and I'm going to shoot all of ya bitches" on East High's Facebook Page.

Following an investigation, the RPD arrested Abigail Hernandez on the evening of February 20th and charged her with making a terrorist threat, a Class D Felony.  A shotgun was recovered from the residence.

The 21-year-old is a student within the Rochester City School District but does not attend East High.

Hernandez was being held in the Monroe County Jail, until it was determined that she is an undocumented immigrant who had status under the DACA program.  She was then taken into custody by ICE and remains in the Federal Detention Center in Batavia.
