Three Rochester Men Facing Cocaine Charges

Three Rochester men are facing cocaine charges following a traffic stop on the Thruway in the Hudson Valley.

Troopers stopped their car for an equipment violation around 2:40 a.m. Sunday in the town of Plattekill.

New York State Police arrested the driver of the vehicle, 19-year-old Ricardo E. Almenteros, and his two passengers, 52-year-old Ricardo Almenteros, and 24-year-old Edward Pearce, after a search of the vehicle turned up nearly three pounds of cocaine.

One of the passengers was also charged with a violation of probation or parole.
