UPDATE: A pre-trial hearing today for Michael Stagles has been adjourned until Friday.

Michael Stagles has a court hearing this morning ahead of his trial next month on a criminally negligent homicide charge in the death of his 3-year-old daughter Brook.
He'll decide soon whether to waive his right to have a jury decide the case.
Stagles' girlfriend, Erica Bell was convicted at a bench trial last week of murder and manslaughter charges for killing the girl with blows to the abdomen that ruptured her intestine.
