New students at RIT are moving into their dorms today.
Welcome celebrations and orientation events are planned all week through Sunday. RIT says its the most diverse freshman class. Twenty nine percent of the 2,800 freshman self-identified as people of color. More than 8 percent are deaf or hard-of-hearing.
Move-in Day at the U of R is tomorrow. There are 1,400 students in the freshman class, from 42 states and 104 countries. And 560 new freshmen arrive at Nazareth College on Thursday.
