Rochester Man Convicted of Five Irondequoit Gunpoint Robberies

A Monroe County Court Jury has found a man guilty of robbing five banks in the Town of Irondequoit at gun-point.  Terry Coley was found guilty on five counts of second degree robbery. The 22-year-old held up cashiers at Kwik Fill gas stations in Irondequoit between May and September of last year. Prosecutor Laura Vanderbrook says Coley pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money. Coley was arrested after trying to rob a gas station. Police prepared a pack of money with a GPS tracking device. They were able to track him to his apartment. They found a ski mask similar to the one worn by the robber and gun. He will be sentenced in October.
