The Red Cross is assisting three adults and a child displaced by a fire at a city apartment house.
The fire was reported by a passerby shortly before 11 last night on the third floor of the house at 1154 Monroe Avenue.
Everyone got out safely and the fire was controlled in less than 30 minutes. There's no word on the cause of the fire.
