Rochester, N.Y. – The region’s leading employer and the City of Rochester are teaming up to give to teach 125 Rochesterians the skills they need to get a job.
Beginning Wednesday the city of Rochester and the University of Rochester will be hosting the Rochester Employment Training and Career Fair. The employee training portion was originally supposed to run Thursday with a job fair on Friday but the Tassie Demps, the director of Human Resource Management for the City of Rochester, says they “had such a request for the training that we thought it was a good idea to add a second day.”
Despite the Wednesday and Thursday employee trainings being open only open to residents of the city, the Friday job fair is open to anyone interested. The following businesses will be at the fair.
