Gainsville N.Y.-State Police have charged a Wyoming County man in two separate cases.
One involves the sexual abuse of a 9 year old and later an 11 year old child. The other case involves alleged animal abuse.
Robert Decarr is accused of abusing the children first in 2006 then in 2013 in the town of Gainesville.
State police say they found a dead puppy and three other sick dogs when they arrested Decarr.
Police charged Decarr and his roommate Thomas Hyde with animal cruelty. For now, Decarr is being held in the Wyoming County Jail.Hyde was released on an appearance ticket and will be back in court at a later date.
