Honeoye Lake N.Y.-Some scary moments for five people Tuesday afternoon on Honeoye Lake after they had to be rescued when their boat capsized .
Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies say the boat was being drivng by 29 year old Hank Babcock of Honeoye when the boat met up with two large wakes that forced water into the passenger area of the boat.
Deputies say the boat was overloaded and as a result, capsized.
Babcock and his passengers were tossed into the water. A passing boat picked the five up and brought them to shore unharmed. Deputies say they were lucky since none of them were wearing life jackets.The boat eventually sank to the bottom in 20 feet of water.
Babcock was issued a ticket for reckless operation of vessel.
