Fayette, NY -- Seneca County authorities say a fast-thinking 14-year-old saved himself and two others after their SUV ended up on its roof in a pond in Fayette.
The vehicle had gone off Post Road, rolled over, and was nearly completely submerged.
The Sheriff's Office says rear-seat passenger Nicholas Wheaton of Romulus escaped, called 911, then pulled out the driver -- 18-year-old Holly Klue of Waterloo -- and the other passenger -- 16-year-old Teresa Jensen of Romulus.
All three suffered minor scrapes and bruises.
Klue was ticketed for speed not reasonable or prudent for road conditions.
