(13WHAM)Rochester, N.Y – Thousands of Rochester Gas and Electric customers were still without power Sunday morning.
According to RG&E, roughly 2,100 Wayne County and 520 Monroe County residents are in the dark since severe thunderstorms Friday evening.
The electric company will distribute dry ice and bottled water to residents in the hardest-hit counties: Wayne and Cayuga.
Supplies will be distributed in Wayne County at the Sodus Fire Department, 14 Mill Street, at 1:00 p.m. and the Wolcott Fire Department, 6162 West Bay Road, at 1:00 p.m.
Supplies will also be available at the Fairhaven Fire Department, corner of St. Route 104A and Shortcut Rd. in downtown Fairhaven, starting at 2:00 p.m.
The number of Wayne County customers without power decreased by 400 since Saturday night.
The Town of Huron has the highest number of people out with 263, followed by Sodus with 218.
50 Irondequoit residents remain without power out of the reported 230 Saturday.
RG&E touts late Sunday night, around 11, as the estimated restoration time.
