Buffalo, N.Y. – Rochester had half an inch of rain on Friday according to the National Weather Service. That makes more than five-point-eight inches since June first.
We haven't had any reports of flooding, compared with what's been going on east of the Rochester region. The Binghamton area is in a Flood Warning today as the Chenango and Susquehanna Rivers rise towards flood stage, with the crest coming about 7:00 p.m.
Further to the east, the Hudson Valley got flash floods yesterday that were severe enough to move several buildings off their foundations in the Town of Herkimer. Several people are missing and police there called for help from the Division of Homeland Security and search dogs last night.
