Rochester, NY -- Rochester police have little to go on in a daylight shooting not far from a city school.
It happened just before 1 p.m. on Linnet Street, near School 34.
Police say a 34-year-old man was shot several times in the mid-section and is in serious condition at Rochester General.
Investigators have no suspect information, but they believe the shooting was an isolated incident and no one at the school was ever in any danger.
The school system says it dispatched its own mobile security team before getting the all-clear from police.
