(13WHAM ) Hamlin, N.Y. - A Clarendon man who admitted to driving while high on drugs in a deadly crash was sentenced to 1 to 3 years in state prison Monday.
Jacob Stevens crashed his car at Church and Lake Roads in Hamlin in June 2011.
His girlfriend, 21-year-old Danielle Gowanlock, who was riding in the car, was killed.
Another driver was seriously injured in the crash.
Stevens expressed remorse at his sentencing.
The victim's mother and sister also spoke in court.
